White Chicken Korma

Standard

Ingredients

  • 1lb/500 g boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cubed
  • 1 onion, diced 
  • 1 TBSP/15 g garlic paste (minced garlic or even powdered garlic will work), or to taste
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup/240 ml plain yoghurt 
  • 2-3 TBSP/30-45 g Shan Brand Chicken White Korma masala (spice blend)salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 TBSP/15 ml Olive oil 

Technique

Mix everything together until chicken is coated. Time permitting, you may choose to marinate overnight (marinating is not necessary). 

Put olive oil in pan and heat. Once oil is heated, place entire meat and yoghurt mixture into pan. Cover, and cook on medium low heat until chicken is done, stirring occasionally. 

 Serve with either basmati rice or naan.
